The Wicked Witch of the Right

Let's get this out of the way. To anyone who gets uncomfortable with short, guttural language, you might want to skip this one.

Ann Coulter is a motherfucking cunt.

Let's do a brief history. Ann is a lawyer who helped represent Paula Jones back in the 90s. Due to an increase in cable news networks, there was an increase in air time that needed to be filled. Ann was the perfect person to fill this spot. She is relatively young, blonde and female. All the things that most of the conservatives on TV weren't(I give you Robert Novak as the other example). Ann likes to throw around big talk that she thinks makes her sound edgy. People on the right of the political spectrum like to hear this, since they have an inferiority complex. It isn't enough to have Fox News act as a bullhorn for their political views. Bigger guns are needed.

Ann is the author of the follow class act quotes(special thanks to The Anti-Coulter Site for the keeping a list of these(unlike Ann, I actually do research for my writing):

In response to the 9/11 attacks: "We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. "

On college liberals: "When contemplating college liberals, you really regret once again that John Walker is not getting the death penalty. We need to execute people like John Walker in order to physically intimidate liberals, by making them realize that they can be killed, too. Otherwise, they will turn out to be outright traitors."

And my new favorite - "My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building."

There are too many. Go check it out, especially the one about Dick Cheney. I'll wait....

Glad you came back. As always, I try to have a point. And here it is. I don't begrudge Ann one bit for writing and speaking this claptrap. Let's look at it from a good, honest American supply and demand point of view. In the best light, one could say Ann and those like her have seen a hole in the market of political banter. On the other end is the consumer, wanting to purchase the toxic tripe that has been produced.

But, Chris, you ask, then who is to blame in this mess?

Easy. The middle man. The person making the profit, the hustler. The publishers.

Ann's new book, the title of which should not be spoken(kinda like the biblical name of Satan), is Crown Forum. Her pervious book was published by Crown Publishing. Crown is owned by Random House. What I find amusing is that Ann is not featured on their site. Neither is her latest book. You have to dig for it. How odd, a piece of work that is making them such a boatload of money, and it isn't featured.

So, here's my idea - boycott all corporate entities that make a profit off of Ann Coulter and her ilk. Crown publishing is obviously at the top of this list. MSNBC would have come in a close second, except that Chris Matthews refuses to have her on any more. What's the matter, Chris, you don't like the monster you helped create during the Clinton impeachment mess? There are many newspapers and websites that carry Ann's message. Cancel your subscriptions.

Wouldn't it be great if someone started a nationwide Ann Coulter boycott? Imagine the lawsuit that would come from that? So tempting....
