Synopsis of Mass. SJC decision on gay marriage

I am extremely proud of Massachusetts today. We have a history of leading the country that we have gotten away from for many years. We were a flash point for race in the 70s. The Red Sox have long had a reputation for being racists. And now, we have this. Excellent. And, believe it or not, I agree completely with both sides of the written decision. I am personally pleased at the decision, but equally impressed with the unbiased, and apparently sound legal reasoning of the dissenting justices. How pleasant to see them refrain from the sniping and bickering the likes of Clarence Thomas and Antonio Scalia have exgaged in this issue.
