On the Road Again

Howdy there, Faithful Reader(and I do mean Reader, singlur).

Back in Japan, 3 years since my last trip. The flight was thoroughly uneventful. The food was even passable, just not as much so for my seatmate. He loked at every item brought to him as if it was a personal trial. Movies were "Because of Winn Dixie", "Spanglish" and "Are We There Yet". All were awful. My one question is why show an Ice Cube "comedy" on a flight filled with Asians and white suburban Americans?

Last night Gladis cooked up a wonderful dinner of beef, noodles, tomato stuff, and beer. That paired with a vintage viewing of the Blues Brothers, and all was well.

Today we head off to the Love Shrine to give thanks for our mutual good fortune, plus a trip to the public baths for a soak to start the day off.
